Places to go, things to do, people to see--yes, that is the story of our life and although very busy, it's been good.
Little Laurel....one of our adopted nieces. She's such a fun little peanut!
And Carley and Lula...the other two. They're so loveable. ;)

State Fair
Micah had the opportunity to take his heifer to state fair. It was a great learning experience!
Beautiful shorthorns to drool over.....
Kayla was the ribbon girl for the shorthorn show
Micah met a really nice shorthorn breeder with really nice cows there. He helped show Mr. M.'s pen of 5.
(And now we own 3 of his shorthorns)

We had alot of fun going out to Jonathan and Hillary's house and helping them do some work to their old farmhouse.
Tearing off layers of colorful (and interesting looking!) wallpaper!
You'd think they lived out west where the wild horses roam.....
Out for a walk in the beautiful hills
And then it is back to work

Before Hillary got married we had to do one last bash which included a sleepover, watching Tangled and going out for ice cream at Olivers. It was so yummy!
And of course, ice cream always tastes twice as good when you're eating it with your best friends!
One last wild game of dutch blitz!

Amy was practicing with her camera so Jo was the willing victim.
Oh, and don't be afraid to leave comments. We actually like them.

Aw, this post was SO cute! Loved that "last bash" before Hillary got married! We had those before our sisters got married with our closest friends too!!
Great picture composition! Try using the plus/minus button (exposure compensation) to lower the amount of white glare. http://www.peachpit.com/articles/article.aspx?p=1670198&seqNum=8
Thank you for all the posts. I don't often take time to comment, but we all greatly enjoy seeing all the little glimpses of your life in NY.
The little girls at the top are so cute! :) And I can't believe how much Joanna has grown up.... I still picture her a little girl running around the farm in Ohio.
And one of my club girls is over today and was looking at these pictures with me and was all excited when she saw you all play Dutch Blitz. The club kids come by and play that all the time around here.
Nice to "see" you again Jo. :) I miss you!! ♥♥
