Hangin' Out Together

It's what we do best when our dear cousins come over to keep us company during a lonesome weekend without Mom, Dad, Amy and Nathan.

Hillary and the kids came over right before lunch so we packed ourselves a yummy picnic complete with chips, cheeze-its, cookies, brownies and sweet tea. (We had peaches and cucumbers too!) After piling in the van we drove up to the lake to enjoy our food. Next we all dove in the lake and swam ourselves out. It was great. The water was beautiful and we found all kinds of logs to float around on which was a blast.

Next we went and got ice cream which was absolutely delicious. Just ask Hillary how to eat a big soft serve twist dunked in sprinkles while trying to drive. It was pretty funny!
We went and walked on some neat nature trails right near our house and thankfully there were no mosquitoes to carry off our cones.

We had the best time. I think the younger ones laughed the entire time. That is why Micah and Amadu are struggling to walk normally. They were laughing their heads off!

After that we went home and did chores, then splurged and ordered pizza and pop and sat down to watch a movie. It was so fun!
