We were making doughnuts at midnight which is a really bad idea but the dough was already made and we had to do something with it!
Yummmmm!
"I'm so tired of frying these things!"

Checking out the animals
Next we went to Grandma Martha's to clean for her. Everyone else weeded her flower beds and planted some new flowers that mom had bought for her. She hadn't seen David in years so she thought he was VERY tall. =)

The following day we drove down to where us older ones grew up on the farm. We like to go down there and stomp around on the land we used to own. This is one of the fields. And naturally, David and Ro made it a blast.
They are always making us laugh and they are just FUN to be around!
Walking the MANY trails though these woods we used to own. We used to roam and ride horses, do firewood, collect sap, play in the swamps, trap and David used to run his sled dogs back here. This place holds ALOT of memories for us. Somehow we all wish we would have never had to leave our 240 acre farm but if we hadn't.......well, then we probably would have never met Ro. =D
He found a tree that we tapped years and years ago. (It feels like a different life back then)
Here's the hole......:(
Can't help but miss those long-ago days
David had such a sharp memory and for not being in these woods for years he remembered which trails to take to find this old sugar shanty that is now dilapitated.
Pictures!!
We were on a sugar high. (from all those doughnuts. And the mint brownie pie. And the cherry chewbilees. And everything else sugary.)
It does bad things to you....
It makes you crazy......
...and corny......and if you've ever watched Courageous, Kay and Jo are trying to imitate the 2 guys driving the car in the goof-up parts. :)
Oh we're having a great time!
Then we tried to be solemn
But we never stay that way for long!
Sissies.....
Trying to hug a big fat tree
Someone's always messin' up the picture
"Oh dear."
Gotcha!
The ticklegrass swamp.......named by......tada......us.
We skated here in the winter and in the summer when it went dry, we had picnics in the tall marshy grass.
Kay, the midget, with her giant body guard. Well, it just looks that way in the picture.
This path is an old stage coach route and it had it's share of bandits and hold ups. Didn't think that happened in the poky old east, right?

Ah ice cream. Who can resist it?
Sweet cold softserve dripping with sprinkles

Letchworth.....our favorite place to go!
Wolf Creek
The gorge at the middle falls
David and Ro enjoying the scenery

Hehe....anyone want to guess who this is?
(Aim decided to suprise Ro)
=D
They did our dishes! Aww!
And big brother had to make sure he could still tackle little younger brother!
I think he succeeded!
Lastly was the shaving cream fight.
Someone's in trouble!
Looks like she lost the fight. But David had to pay. Both his shoes were full of shaving cream and cheerios. (And he found that out when he stuck his sock foot in.) Oh sweet revenge. :)
Thanks for coming guys. It was absolutely G.R.E.A.T!!!!!!
