This gorgeous red roan stallion is widely known as Snippy's Cowboy, an American Quarter Horse Assosciation Champion. He has earned 203 performance points in western pleasure, reining, calf roping and dally team roping at the heading and heeling end. In 1981 he earned a Superior in Reining. He also has a Performance Register of Merit, and 7 Grand Champions at Halter. Out of the 260 AQHA foals he sired, 57 were point earners and one was a World Champion. And his get accumulated over 10,364 points....

This is his dam, Cow Lady Drift who is in the top 20 of AQHA's all-time top performance producing mares, and has gotten numerous points in Reining, Working Cow Horse and Halter.
And then there is Lacey Denim, our South Dakota foaled, quarter horse....
who when we looked through her papers, dicovered Snippy's Cowboy is her great-grandsire and Cow Lady Drift, her great-great granddam.
For now, Lacey is our sweet and spunky trail horse but we hope to do more with her someday including breeding her to a good stud so we can carry on the good cowhorse bloodlines and also possibly training her in some sort of cow work.She is a favorite in our family!
